They are coming to the city as part of their "Power Up Tour", which is also the title of the band's latest album. This spring, AC/DC is touring the USA, and this summer they will continue to Europe.
The band, which was formed in 1973 in Sydney, Australia, also performed a number of concerts in Europe last year, but then in cities like London, Munich, Dublin, and Paris.
When the band toured Europe in 2015, they also performed at Friends Arena outside Stockholm.
The new European tour begins in Prague on June 26, and this time AC/DC will also be performing in Oslo, where they will arrive on August 5.
Tickets will be released on February 7.
There were no large summer concerts at Ullevi in the summer of 2024. But this summer, Håkan Hellström will return for three performances, and with AC/DC, Ullevi and Gothenburg will now get another major concert.
