A 25-year-old woman has died after a traffic accident in Skurup, according to the police.
The accident occurred at 6 am on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, it is a single-vehicle accident where a passenger car crashed into a tree. The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, but her life could not be saved.
The accident will be investigated to see if there was a fault with the vehicle. The body will be autopsied to determine if it was an acute illness or something else that caused the accident, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
There is currently no suspicion of crime.
