A man in his 85s has died after a drowning accident in Uddevalla, according to the police.
We were alerted that a man had been found in the water at a bathing place in Uddevalla, said Andreas Elfström, duty officer at the rescue service Fyrbodal, to TT on Wednesday afternoon.
The alarm came at 15.30 on Wednesday afternoon. The man was pulled out of the water by people on site and was then taken to hospital.
There is no suspicion of crime, according to the police.
