Above all, the men's distance races are being moved from Friday to Thursday, the same day as the women's races. Both competitions will also be held over a shorter distance.

Furthermore, the mass starts are being moved to Saturday from Sunday and are thus switching days with the mixed relay and single mixed relay.

"The facility was in top condition last week, but heavy rain and warm winds have caused damage to the track. The weather forecast for this week is also not good, with further rain and heat. Therefore, we have adjusted the competition program – so that competitions can be held in equal and fair conditions", says World Cup competition director Borut Nunar in a press release.
