The multi-event athlete Bianca Salming is ending the season, she confirms to Expressen.
The 26-year-old has been injured for a while and started competing late in the summer:
I couldn't start competing until late in the summer. I wanted to take a chance to see if I could qualify for Tokyo. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and I had to withdraw from the Swedish Championship and end the season, she says to Expressen.
Salming, who is not selected for this weekend's Finnkamp, will therefore miss the World Championship in Tokyo in September.
