It feels crap, he says to SVT.

The Swede was unrecognizable in the first two sets, which he lost with 6–11, 6–11. But in the third set, Källberg came to life and reduced to 1–2 after 11–5 in the set.

In the fourth set, the German gained momentum after two challenges of judgments, where he was right both times. The ball was hiding behind Källberg's head when he threw up the ball before serving, but the ball must be visible all the way.

Outclassing in the last set

Walther won the last set with a whole 11–3 and won overall with 3–1.

He challenges two serves correctly. It bothers a bit, but it's part of the game and it's completely right for him to do it. I might also have done something, or done it better, says Källberg.

Källberg is now one of several seeded players who have been eliminated in the WTT tournament in Malmö after lower-ranked players have won. He is, however, still in the doubles tournament together with Truls Möregårdh.

It's fun that the tournament is not over anyway, new attempt tomorrow.

Walther will face world number one Lin Shidong in the quarterfinals.

Källberg/Karlsson fell

More expected was that Stina Källberg and Kristian Karlsson would be eliminated against Lin Yun-Ju and Cheng I-Ching from Taiwan in the second round of the mixed doubles tournament.

But it was a very dramatic and even event. The match became a long five-setter, after 11–4, 7–11, 11–9, 7–11 in the first four sets.

But in the end, Lin/Cheng could win the match after winning 12–10 in the fifth and decisive set.
