According to the site, the attacker Kai Havertz did not participate in the London club's open training on Wednesday morning and the reason is said to be that he has suffered a knee injury.
The examination of the injury is said to be in an early stage and therefore it is unclear how serious it is and how long the German national team attacker will be out.
Recently, the Swedish star Viktor Gyökeres joined Arsenal from Portuguese Sporting. He started in the Premier League premiere away against Manchester United on Sunday (1–0), but after 60 goalless minutes he was substituted for Kai Havertz.
Arsenal already have the attacker Gabriel Jesus on the injury list. The Brazilian has been out of play due to a cruciate ligament injury since January and is not expected to return in the near future.
Arsenal face Leeds at home in the Premier League on Saturday.
