Adam Benediktsson is leaving Allsvenska IFK Göteborg for Superettan club Östersund.
The Icelandic junior national team player wants to get more playing time.
He came to Blåvitt as a 19-year-old almost three years ago and has played 22 A-team matches.
"He has grown both as a player and as a person, and has had a fine development with us. Now he is ready to take the next step with regular football", says Ola Larsson, technical director at IFK Göteborg, to the club's website.
Benediktsson says that he hopes to get a lot of playing time in Östersund to continue developing.
