Producer prices in the USA rose by 0.2 percent in December compared to the previous month.
This can be compared to the increase of 0.4 percent in November and an average forecast of a December increase of 0.3 percent according to Bloomberg's compilation of forecasts.
In annual terms, producer prices rose in December by 3.3 percent, compared to 3.0 percent in November and expected 3.5 percent.
