The trial against the man, who is charged with unlawful harassment, has begun in the Stockholm District Court.

The 38-year-old is suspected, among other things, of having been outside Bianca Ingrosso's residence several times. On one occasion, he is said to have sat in a car and honked outside her home for 40 minutes after arriving there with flowers.

On one occasion, he is said to have appeared outside the influencer's office, put his hand on her shoulder and said something like "I'm not going to hit you, but I'm here now", according to the indictment.

Sexually offensive

He is also said to have waited in the entrance to the Grand Hotel in Stockholm for six hours after seeing on Instagram that Ingrosso was there for a massage, and interpreted the post as her speaking to him and that he should come there, according to the police investigation.

He is also said to have written countless messages to her via Instagram and Snapchat - sometimes several hundred a day, and many of them offensive and hateful. According to the indictment, he is said to have written about her in a sexually degrading way, sent porn and a clip where he smashes furniture to her, and threatened to kick in her door.

Not mentally disturbed

In one of many video clips where he turns to Ingrosso, he claims that the two are "meant for each other", according to the preliminary investigation. The police investigation also shows that the man became jealous when she followed other men on social media or was seen with someone in public. Then he is said to have become angry and threatening and accused her of being unfaithful.

A forensic psychiatric investigation concluded in June that the man does not show any signs of mental disorder, either at the time of the suspected crimes or during the investigation.

The trial will last for two days.
