North Korean soldiers who were recently sent to Russia to assist in the war have been shelled by Ukrainian soldiers, according to Ukrainian reports.
"The first North Korean soldiers have already been shelled in the Kursk region", writes Andrij Kovalenko at Ukraine's Center Against Disinformation on the messaging service Telegram.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj stated on Monday that 11,000 North Korean soldiers are located in the Kursk region.
