A police officer has been killed in a shooting at the campus area of Emory University in Atlanta.
The alarm about the shooting came late on Friday evening Swedish time. No civilians were injured, but several buildings were shot at.
The suspected shooter was later found in a building opposite the campus area and died on the spot. According to the police, it is still unclear whether he was killed or took his own life.
The motive behind the act is not known.
