The UN Security Council will gather on Saturday to discuss Israel's plan to take control of Gaza City, according to diplomatic sources for AFP.
The meeting, which will take place on Saturday evening, has been requested by several members of the Security Council as the global concern over Israel's plan increases.
It is, according to AFP, unusual for the Security Council to gather on weekends.
