Thus, Ukraine's state expenditures to combat the Russian invasion are estimated to amount to 50 billion dollars, equivalent to approximately 550 billion kronor.

"The budget for 2025 has been adopted," writes Prime Minister Denys Sjmyhal on Telegram:

"All taxes paid by citizens and companies next year will go towards the defense of and security in Ukraine."

Ukraine's total budget is equivalent to approximately 3,600 billion hryvnia – around 950 billion kronor, according to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry's calculations.

This budget clearly defines our priorities: defense, security, support to the people, development, and reconstruction of the country, taking into account our limited resources. It is what makes us stronger and leads to victory, said Sjmyhal in connection with the parliamentary vote, radan.

The budget must be approved by President Volodymyr Zelenskyj before it becomes law.
