Two people have been taken to hospital after a fire in a high-rise building in Vällingby in western Stockholm on Tuesday evening.
We received an alarm about a severe fire on a balcony on the tenth floor, which led to smoke spreading throughout the building, says Roger Sverndal at the rescue service in Stockholm.
The fire could be extinguished and the rescue service is now working on ventilating the smoke.
We are also searching the adjacent apartments to ensure that no more people have been injured, says Sverndal.
The extent of the injuries to the two people taken to hospital is unclear.
