Two young men are being prosecuted on suspicion of involvement in drug dealing in Umeå. The location where the sale took place can be linked to another address in Umeå where the police made a large seizure of drugs, including 1.6 kilos of amphetamine and 1.2 kilos of cannabis, reports Västerbottens-Kuriren.
One of the men, a 20-year-old from Stockholm, had rented a flat in Mariehem, Umeå, and when the police went through his phone, they could see how the flat had been used to sell drugs.
Furthermore, the police found messages sent via encrypted apps about drugs being available for sale.
The men are being prosecuted on suspicion of serious drug offences, and the prosecutor is emphasizing in the indictment that it is a "particularly large quantity of drugs" that was found and that the operation was "carried out on a larger scale or professionally".
