Two men have been arrested on suspicion of probable cause for aiding and abetting murder after rapper C Gambino's death.
The prosecutor will make a decision on Sunday as to whether the individuals will be detained.
The investigation, including interviews, witness statements, and technical examinations, continues.
26-year-old C Gambino was shot dead on Tuesday evening in a parking garage near his home on Hisingen in Gothenburg. According to the police, he had connections to a criminal network.
The investigators believe they have a clear picture of how the murder unfolded.
After the murder, the police reported that witnesses saw a car leaving the crime scene at the same time as the incident. Yesterday, the police announced that a burned car on Hisingen may be linked to the murder, and the vehicle has been seized for technical examination.
C Gambino kept his real identity out of the spotlight and appeared with a mask. He released his debut album in 2022 and has been high on the Swedish charts. Last month, he received the prize for hip-hop of the year at the Grammis gala. His latest single "Last Time" was released just last week.
