Two of Donald Trump's defense lawyers, Todd Blanche and Emil Bove, will get top jobs in the US Department of Justice if the incoming president gets his way.
Blanche has been nominated as Deputy Attorney General, alongside the controversial nomination of Congressman Matt Gaetz as Attorney General. Emil Bove will become Blanche's closest colleague.
The two defended Trump, among other things, in the case where he was convicted of illegally paying money to porn star Stormy Daniels. The intention was that she would keep quiet about a sexual relationship she and Trump had. Trump has denied this.
