The Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that the EU resembles China, but in smaller format, when it comes to trade relations with the USA.
They (EU) don't take our cars, they don't take our agricultural products, they take nothing, said Trump in a radio interview where he criticized the EU's trade policy.
Trump claimed that the USA has a trade deficit of 312 billion dollars with the EU.
So the EU is a mini - but not so much mini - a mini-China.
