At least 37 people have been killed by Israeli fire in Gaza on Saturday, according to the civil defense in the Hamas-controlled strip. And during the last 24 hours, eleven people in Gaza have died due to starvation and malnutrition.

In total, at least 212 people, of which 98 are children, have now died due to malnutrition, according to the Hamas-controlled health department.

Mahmud Bassal, spokesperson for the civil defense, says that 12 people were killed and nearly 200 injured when Israeli forces began shooting at a crowd near a border crossing in northern Gaza that has been used for aid deliveries.

An additional 6 people were killed and 30 injured after Israeli forces attacked civilians who had gathered near a site where emergency aid was being distributed in central Gaza.

Several people have also been killed in air strikes in central Gaza. In a drone attack near the city of Khan Yunis, at least three were killed and several injured, according to Bassal.

Since international journalists are not allowed to report from Gaza, it is difficult to verify the information.
