A truck trailer with 167 pigs has overturned in Norrtälje. According to the rescue service, several of the animals are believed to have been injured.
A veterinarian is working on site, says Fredrik Hilmersson, operations leader at the Greater Stockholm Fire Department, to TT.
He cannot say anything about the pigs' injuries, but no animals are said to have escaped, and all are still in the overturned trailer. No humans have been injured.
The road is closed while the pigs are being taken care of.
