Three children, 12, 13 and 14 years old, have died in Venezuela after performing a viral Tiktok challenge that involved ingesting, inhaling and spreading "dangerous mixtures" of chemicals, according to the country's president Nicolas Maduro.
Now, Tiktok is being fined 10 million dollars by Venezuela's highest court for "lack of swift control" of content on the platform, reports Bloomberg.
The social media platform is also required by the verdict to open an office in Venezuela to ensure that the content complies with local laws.
