TV4 is tweaking the concept in this spring's round of the reality hit.

Unlike before, this season was already recorded in Cyprus last year. So, viewers cannot participate and influence the show with their votes during the season. Instead, so-called "superfans" were on site and followed the recording.

But when the final is to be decided, viewers will get to decide in a live broadcast.

Johanna Nordström is the new host of "Love Island", which premieres on January 27 on TV4 Play and in Sjuan.

"This season really shows why I love 'Love Island'. It's better, more fun, more daring, cooler, and sexier than ever. It's an incredible season waiting, I promise", she says in a written comment.

Here are those competing in this spring's season:

Girls: Elin Stenman, 23 years old, Vasa, Finland, Matilda Adelin, 20 years old, Stockholm, Karina Oliveira, 22 years old, Stockholm, Johanna Renlund, 24 years old, Stockholm, Wilma Tillander, 22 years old, Gothenburg.

Guys: Linus Schött, 24 years old, Croatia/Uppsala, Marcus Malmqvist, 24, Stockholm/Hudiksvall, Morgan Malingula, 21 years old, Stockholm, Mattias Forsell, 24, Gothenburg, Andrew Palm, 20 years old, Stockholm.

The season's first bombshell: Emma Kihl, 22 years old, Marbella/Orust.
