The Sweden Democrats' EU top names participated in a conversation arranged by an anonymous far-right account on X, according to Expo's investigation.

In early June, the anonymous account, with nearly 15,000 followers, held a live audio meeting on the platform where the Sweden Democrats' top names, Dick Erixon and Maria Rosander, participated together with Jessica Stegrud (SD), a Member of Parliament and former EU parliamentarian. The following day, EU parliamentarian Charlie Weimers also participated.

According to Expo's review, the man behind the account has shared posts from the racist ideological organisation Det fria Sverige – including one that encourages people to participate in the organisation's project to create areas where only whites are allowed to live. He himself writes that schools have too much education about the Holocaust.

The man has also spread a pro-Russian narrative about Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Among other things, he writes that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky is responsible for the invasion and that he is a "blathering liar".

In an interview with Expo, the account holder says it was he who invited the party representatives to his audio meeting.

Expo has contacted the Sweden Democrats, but the party has not responded.
