The police's special event Frigg will be shut down, reports Sveriges radio Ekot.
Frigg was created in the spring of 2023, when the conflict between the two criminal networks Foxtrot and Dalen escalated, as a way to stop the wave of violence.
Police officers in external service and investigators were called in, and other police work was deprioritized in the fight against gang violence.
But towards winter, Frigg will be concluded and instead transition into regular operations.
