The Ski World Championship in Trondheim is approaching, but before that, the Swedish Championship will be decided in Borås.

A championship that appears not to lack star power.

Jonna Sundling, Ebba Andersson, William Poromaa, Edvin Anger, Moa Ilar, Johanna Hagström, Jens Burman, and Emma Ribom are all planning to compete for medals, according to SVT.

Nice and great to get to come home and compete. There's always a great atmosphere during the Swedish Championship week. And it feels important that we're participating, says Emma Ribom to the channel.

One person the Borås audience appears to miss is Frida Karlsson, as well as Maja Dahlqvist, who is uncertain about how the Swedish Championship fits into her plan leading up to the World Championship.

The Swedish Championship in cross-country skiing will take place on 6-8 February, and immediately after the competitions, the World Championship team will be presented.
