Forsberg has been a spokesperson since 2022 and Mc Manus since 2023.

"When I took office, it was not a given for the Green Party to talk about class divisions and social justice, but it is today. It is obvious that the Green Party is Sweden's only green liberal left-wing party", says Rebecka Forsberg in a comment.

Leon Mc Manus connects it to the Green Party "for the first time in nearly a decade" increasing in opinion among young people.

"I am convinced that it is due to the Young Greens' focus on social media and the fact that many young people, just like us, see that the climate struggle is linked to the struggle for justice", he says.

The spokespersons are leaving at the annual meeting in February.
