The education, which is located both at the Defence Forces and the Defence University, will continue until February. According to the Royal Court, the Crown Princess is undergoing the same education as the others in the program.

Initially, the Crown Princess has studied marine tactics. This will be followed by "studies in army and air force tactics", according to the Royal Court.

"The Crown Princess strives to continuously build her experiences with different skills in preparation for her future role as head of state", it is further stated.

At the same time, the Royal Court and the Defence Forces are releasing images from when the Crown Princess completed her basic military training (GMU) earlier this year.

The Crown Princess is seen crawling through narrow passages, balancing on ropes, and wading through watercourses. Various weapon-related images have also been released.

The special officer training is aimed at individuals with at least 180 higher education credits. After a security clearance, one is employed as an officer and begins the 20-25 month training, depending on the individual's prior military experience.

The education includes both theory and practice and is largely conducted together with the officer program at the Military Academy Karlberg.
