The Court of Appeal acquits a 26-year-old man of involvement in a murder in Helsingborg last summer. In the district court, the man was convicted of aiding and abetting murder, involving a minor in crime and aggravated weapons offense.

The presiding judge, Lars Lindblad, says in a press release that although there are circumstances that suggest the man was involved, they are not sufficient to meet the high standard of proof beyond reasonable doubt.

The Court of Appeal also alters the verdict for another 26-year-old man, who is instead convicted of aiding and abetting murder.

A 17-year-old boy was sentenced at the end of May to four years of closed youth care for the murder.
