The American actress Erica Ash has passed away, writes TMZ.
"After a long and brave battle against cancer, she peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones", says her mother Diann Ash in a statement to the newspaper.
Ash is most known for her roles in the films "Scary movie 5" and "We have a ghost".
"Erica was an amazing woman and a talented entertainer who touched countless people with her sharp humor and genuine joy of life. The memory of her will remain forever in our hearts", says the mother further.
Erica Ash was 46 years old.
