Last week, Combs was convicted of two cases of transportation for the purpose of facilitating prostitution, after he hired male escorts for his girlfriends in so-called "freak-offs". Combs was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and extortion conspiracy.
The prosecutors estimate the sentence to be between just over four and five years, while the defense believes the sentence should be between 21 and 27 months. Combs risks up to 20 years in prison but has already been detained for a year, which will be deducted from the sentence.
