”Simma lugnt, Larry!”-actor Larry David and the former American president Barack Obama will in a joint production portray the American history ahead of the country's 250-year anniversary, writes Deadline.
The yet unnamed series with half-hour long episodes is written by Larry David and his partner Jeff Schaffer, who also directs. It will be produced by the Obama couple's production company Higher Ground, which previously made several TV productions for Netflix.
About the somewhat unexpected collaboration, the former president says:
I have sat opposite some of the world's toughest leaders and wrestled with some of our most unsolvable problems. Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David.
