Olympic Games silver medalists Truls Möregårdh and Anton Källberg are reaping table tennis successes in the WTT Champions tournament in Macao.

Möregårdh won his first match on Monday and has advanced to the round of 16. He will be joined by Källberg. On Tuesday morning, Swedish time, Anton Källberg won a five-set match against Nigerian Quadri Aruna. The players took two sets each, but in the deciding set, Källberg won clearly with 11–2.

The blue-yellow duo took Olympic Games silver in the team event in Paris this summer, along with Kristian Karlsson. In the final, they lost to China. Möregårdh also took silver in singles.

Linda Bergström also advanced from the first round in the tournament in Macao. She defeated American Amy Wang in three straight sets – 11–5, 11–5, 11–7.

Even Mattias Falck has advanced in the WTT Champions tournament, where 32 men's and women's players are participating. Falck, who did not make the Olympic Games team, beat Spanish Alvaro Robles with 3–1 in sets (11–9, 11–7, 9–11, 11–5).
