Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) and Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer (M) are traveling to Turkey's capital Ankara on Wednesday.
They will initiate the countries' security dialogue. The ministers will, among other things, discuss gang criminality and combating terrorism, according to a press release.
At NATO's summit in Vilnius last year, Sweden and Turkey agreed on a new discussion format, a security dialogue. Wednesday's meeting will be the first time the countries meet in that format.
