For the second time, Sweden is represented by two female ski jumpers at the World Championship. Frida Westman and Jenny Forsberg are the duo at the World Championship in Trondheim, which starts next week.
It will be home turf for both, as they train and live in Trondheim.
For Frida Westman, the World Championship will also be her first competition in two years. A knee injury, and subsequent complications, have put a stop to her activities since March 2023.
"I feel increasingly secure in my jumping and landings. I don't have too high expectations, but the World Championship is a bonus and my goal is to make it to the final", says Westman in a press release.
Corrected: In an earlier version of the text, incorrect information was provided about Swedish ski jumpers at the World Championship. The correct information is that this will be the second time two women are participating.
