A big steak, and a chat with friend Zlatan. UFC star Khamzat Chimaev, who previously competed for Sweden, celebrated his first title by calling friend Ibrahimovic, reports Expressen.
Chimaev defeated the South African Dricus Du Plessis in the title fight in middleweight in Chicago. After the triumph, he celebrated by eating a big steak and calling his mother, writes Expressen. In pictures on X, he is also seen talking to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swedish football icon has on several occasions previously supported Chimaev and been present at fights. Ibrahimovic has also posted a tribute to Chimaev on Instagram after the title.
Chimaev previously represented Sweden but now competes for the United Arab Emirates.
