Two substitutions and two goals from Tobias Heintz paved the way for the win.
Gothenburg came strengthened from the derby win against Gais and took command early in the classic match. AIK was not harmless, but when the attacker Erik Flataker got the chance from just a few meters, the header ended up straight in the arms of Elis Bishesari in the home goal. Blåvitt quickly rearranged, and after a fine combination game, the Norwegian Tobias Heintz nicely screwed the ball into the post.
I think we have changed mentality completely. Now we can win matches, to keep a lead. We make a fantastic team effort, says Heintz to Max after the match.
The second goal was almost a copy of the first.
AIK's Erik Flataker missed again a chance to break his goal zero for the club, but the shot went wide after a misfire. Blåvitt took a quick kickoff, won the ball high, and Heintz nicely scored his second goal of the day.
We run for each other. We fight for each other. We are damn good team, and we show it today.
AIK managed after a corner to reduce through the central defender Thomas Isherwood, but no more goals from the guests came this Sunday.
The win means that Blåvitt is on par with AIK on 34 points and now places itself in sixth place – a position behind the black and yellow on goal difference.
