The three individuals who were detained following the police operation at a high school in Ljungby have been released, reports P4 Kronoberg. They are, however, still suspected of crimes.

Two of them, both 18 years old, are suspected of preparing to commit murder. A man in his 60s is suspected of serious weapons offenses.

On Monday, a rumor circulated about an impending act of violence at the school, and the suspects were arrested on Monday evening. On Tuesday, the school was closed.
