A person has been detained following a suspected murder in Vadstena, the police write on their website.
The police and ambulance were alerted to a residence outside Vadstena after a suspected heart stop during Wednesday afternoon. At the scene, a deceased person was found.
A person who was in the same residence was arrested on suspicion of murder as there were signs of a crime, according to the police. Later in the evening, the suspect was detained by the prosecutor.
Technicians are working at the scene and the police are going door-to-door in the area.
Relatives of the deceased have been informed.
