A suspected dangerous object has been found outdoors in Tullinge south of Stockholm.
The alarm came at lunchtime on Sunday.
It was found in a residential area, says the police's press spokesperson Per Fahlström.
He does not want to say if the object was located near a residence. The area is cordoned off and the national bomb squad is now working on examining the object.
The incident is being investigated as an attempt at general endangerment and gross crime against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods.
