The police are investigating a suspected attempted murder in Karlskrona after a wounded man was found in the Kungsmarken district on Monday evening.
The alarm came in to the police just before 7 pm and the man has been taken to hospital by ambulance for care.
We receive several calls, including from the plaintiff himself, who claims to have been injured with a weapon, says the police's press spokesperson Patric Fors.
The area is cordoned off and technicians are on their way. No one has been arrested.
We have several patrols on site trying to get a better understanding of what happened, including by knocking on doors. We are also present at the hospital where we hope to be able to question the plaintiff a little later.
