Two people have been detained, suspected of attempted murder, after a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted in Gamleby in Västervik municipality, the police announce.
The police previously stated that the man was assaulted with a sharp object.
The alarm came in at 00:47 on Sunday morning. The police worked on the scene throughout the night and questioned several witnesses.
