The Government has appointed a negotiator to renegotiate and investigate the conditions for building an eastern traffic link in Stockholm, the so-called eastern link, which would connect the region's northern and southern parts in such a case.
The assignment is part of a larger investigation to review infrastructure projects in Stockholm County.
"The Government has previously announced that it will investigate the conditions for an eastern link, which would be important for linking infrastructure in and around the capital. Now we're taking the next step", says Infrastructure Minister Andreas Carlson in a press release.
