The new goal is for the giant rocket Starship to be ready for its fourth launch as early as Thursday, according to the space company Space X on Saturday.
American Space X, whose founder and CEO is Elon Musk, writes in a post on X that Starship will be standing by for the necessary permits from the authorities.
The giant rocket is intended to take people to the moon and later to Mars.
Already three launches have been made.
Last April and November, the spacecraft exploded during launch at the two initial times.
In mid-March this year, the third launch was more successful. Then Starship made it all the way up into space but burned up upon re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere.
Space X has a declared strategy of "trial and error" to optimize its development, where it quickly tests and learns from any mistakes.
Musk wrote on X on May 12 that the goal for the fourth journey is for Starship to survive the maximum heating time or at least longer than the third time.
