Johanna Skottheim will replace Hanna Öberg in the national biathlon team's squad for the World Championship competitions in French Annecy-Le Grand Bornand.

Öberg was ill before the season start and has since struggled to find her form. After finishing 66th in the sprint in Hochfilzen, Öberg went home to get a good training period.

Skottheim, meanwhile, has started the season in the IBU Cup, where she is fifth in the overall standings.

Otherwise, the national team makes no changes to the squad compared to the initial competitions in Kontiolax and Hochfilzen.

The week's competitions in France begin with sprint (men on Thursday and women on Friday) and continue over the weekend with pursuit starts (Saturday) and mass starts (Sunday).

Women: Anna Magnusson, Anna-Karin Heijdenberg, Ella Halvarsson, Elvira Öberg, Johanna Skottheim, Sara Andersson.

Men: Anton Ivarsson, Jesper Nelin, Malte Stefansson, Martin Ponsiluoma, Sebastian Samuelsson, Viktor Brandt.
