Ludvig Åberg Shines Despite Weather Delay in PGA Tour Playoffs

The bad weather and the two-hour delay did not disturb Ludvig Åberg. He delivered a stable first round when the second competition of the PGA tour playoffs got underway. The Swede is tied seventh after having played the course in Owing Hills in Maryland two strokes under par.

Åberg only got to play a few holes before the competition was temporarily interrupted due to bad weather. After a break of just over two hours, the game got underway again and Åberg responded with a 68-round after four birdies and two bogeys.

The leader is Scot Robert MacIntyre who finished at –8 after a fantastic finish with six straight birdies.

Only the top 50 on the Fedex Cup ranking get to play the second of a total of three final tournaments. To the tour final next week, the top 30 go and Ludvig Åberg is already qualified for that.
