The night against Tuesday, a shooting occurred at an apartment building in the Råby district of Västerås. The police were alerted at 1 am.
We received several calls about loud bangs. When we arrived, we could confirm that someone had shot into a door, said Patrik Wallblom, RLC commander at the police in Region Mitt.
No one was injured in connection with the incident. No one was, at 4 am, yet suspected or arrested. A technical investigation was underway.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into suspected aggravated weapons offense.
