Ukraine has carried out a "massive" drone attack against the Rostov region in southern Russia during the night against Thursday, reports the Russian governor Yuri Slyusar on Telegram.
According to Slyusar, more than thirty drones and three robots were sent against the region. Most were neutralized, reports the governor, but a fire broke out at an oil refinery. Later in the morning, Slyusar announced that the fire had been extinguished.
According to Russia's Defense Ministry, over 80 drones were shot down across the country during the night, including those in the Rostov region.
One person is said to have been injured by falling fragments from the downed drones.
