Russia claims to have taken two more villages in eastern Ukraine.
According to the country's defense department, Russian forces have taken the villages of Novopokrovske in Donetsk and Stepova Novoselivka in the northeastern Kharkiv region after several weeks of fighting.
Russia has claimed to have taken a new village almost every week during the summer.
The information about the two villages in Donetsk and Kharkiv has not yet been confirmed by Ukrainian or independent sources.
