Russia is releasing a 28-year-old American who was arrested on February 7 at one of Moscow's airports, accused of possessing a small amount of marijuana, reports New York Times.
The whole thing can be seen as a benevolent gesture ahead of Tuesday's talks between the US and Russia in Saudi Arabia, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitrij Peskov.
The talks are about restoring relations between the US and Russia as well as the Russian attack war in Ukraine.
